Sarah Weiler Hurtado was born in Philadelphia, PA.  Her family moved to Tampa in 1999.  After High School she went to Southeastern University where she graduated with a bachelor’s in business management.  While there, she took two semesters to study abroad at Tel Aviv University in Israel.

After graduating college, she started volunteering at A Woman’s Place and decided to go back to school for ultrasound. In 2011 she graduated as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, becoming registered in both Abdomen & OB/GYN.

Sarah started her experience at Sarasota Memorial Hospital working in their outpatient sites. At the same time, she worked for a mobile ultrasound company traveling to different doctors’ offices doing ultrasounds.

In 2013 Sarah started working at A Woman’s Place as a sonographer and soon became the center manager at one of their locations. Sarah still works part time at A Woman’s Place as a sonographer and also trains nurses to do limited ultrasound.

In 2014 Sarah married her husband, Mario, and not two long after had two beautiful boys. Some things that Sarah enjoys are: singing in the worship team at her Messianic Synagogue, salsa dancing, going to the beach, playing volleyball, drinking coffee and spending time with her friends and family.

Sarah has been the sonographer at Breath of Life for the past four years, allowing her to show patients the life growing inside of them. Making sure the baby and mom are heathy and safe are her top priorities. She loves how Breath of Life gives her the ability to take time with her patients and give them good quality care with a great experience.
